About
Dr. Nick Lynch started his career as an orthodontist in Florida in August 2022 before transitioning to the TBraces team in July 2024. Dr. Lynch now works alongside Dr. Hani Thariani to bring bright, beautiful smiles to the Northern Virginia community, driven by his passion for orthodontics and its transformative impact on patients’ self-confidence.
Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Lynch’s commitment to excellence in orthodontics is evident in his impressive professional achievements and clinical skill set. After completing his orthodontic education and training, Dr. Lynch pursued advanced studies and fulfilled all requirements to become an American Board of Orthodontics board-certified orthodontist, a distinction earned by only 20% of orthodontists.
Outside the office, Dr. Lynch enjoys reading, weightlifting, attending concerts, and hiking. As an Eagle Scout and avid traveler, Dr. Lynch has visited 29 countries and hiked over 10 volcanoes.

Education
Dr. Lynch completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville with Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Spanish, graduating summa cum laude. He then pursued his dental education at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated first in his class with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Dr. Lynch went on to specialize in orthodontics by earning his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) with a certificate in orthodontics from Virginia Commonwealth University. The results of his thesis research were also published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
